Attorney Jason Itkin

In 2004, Jason Itkin and Kurt Arnold formed Arnold & Itkin LLP. Since then, the firm has worked tirelessly to win victories for those who have been injured by the wrongful conduct of companies. The firm's track record of winning multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements has catapulted it into one of the nations "go-to" firms for serious cases.

Jason graduated from the University of Texas with Special Honors in the Plan II Honors Program. Upon graduation, he went onto the University of Texas School of Law where he graduated with honors too. While at the University of Texas, Jason won several different honors and awards – not the least of which was the Dean's Achievement Awards in Professional Responsibility. He also remained active in the Liberal Arts Council, Student Services Board, and was voted as the President of the prestigious Silver Spurs.

Meet Jason Itkin

After graduating from law school, Jason began his career in the Attorney General’s Honors Program. It was there, that Jason tried his first cases. Jason left the Attorney General to accept a position at Susman Godfrey LLP—a well-known litigation boutique. Jason left Susman Godfrey with his good friend Kurt Arnold to form Arnold & Itkin LLP.

Today, Arnold & Itkin LLP handles serious cases nationwide. Jason has won cases in more than 20 states and maintains licenses in Texas, Pennsylvania, as well as the Second and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Jason is also a fellow in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Jason spends most of his time working for his clients. He understands that it takes a special combination of hard-work, intelligence, and aggressiveness in order to win cases against large companies. This work ethic has served Jason’s clients well. Jason and his firm have won hundreds of millions of dollars for their clients inside and outside the Courtroom.

In 2011, Arnold & Itkin, LLP Recovers $250 Million

In the year of 2011, the legal team at Arnold & Itkin, LLP has been proud to be able to recover over $250 million on behalf of their clients. This includes both out-of-court negotiations, as well as cases that were taken to the courthouse. Legal Team at Arnold & Itkin Recovers $100 Million

In the year of 2009 alone, the legal team at Arnold & Itkin, LLP was able to recover over $100 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of their clients. Combining aggressive negotiating skills with a creative approach, they were able to both deal with out-of-court negotiations, as well as in-court cases. Verdict of $38 Million Won Against One of Hawaii’s Largest Corporations

The legal team of Kurt Arnold and Jason Itkin from Arnold & Itkin, LLP worked together to obtain a $38.2 million jury verdict on behalf of their client, Richard Foreman, against Key Principal Partners LLC and its parent Key Corporation. It was determined that the company was guilty of breaching their fiduciary duties, as well getting wrongfully involved in the business transactions of the plaintiff.

Injured Plaintiff Receives a $14 Million Settlement

By working with Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Jason Itkin and Mike Pierce, an injured man was able to settle their case two days before the trial was set to start. The injured had suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident and was to use the compensation to help receive the medical treatment that he justly deserved. The case was originally filed in Galveston County in March of 2008 and was set to begin the trial in February 2, 2009 before it reached a settlement of $14 million at the end of January.

Recovery of $10 Million Jury Verdict on Behalf of Paralyzed Girl

A Louisiana family recently suffered from a tragic incident that resulted in the wrongful death of a mother of four, as well as the paralysis of five-year-old girl. The legal team of Kurt Arnold and Jason Itkin worked together to help prove negligence on behalf of the defendant and worked tirelessly to help advocate on behalf of their clients. Through their efforts, they were able to provide sufficient evidence in a compelling case and resulted in the jury returning with a $10.9 million verdict.

Brain Injury Victim Receives $7.2 Million

In a case that was riddled with complex legal issues, relief was found for a Louisiana plaintiff who was able to recover a $7.2 million settlement. Represented by Arnold & Itkin, the plaintiff was able to receive the money that they need to recover the compensation that they deserve. The case actually was taken to trial in October of 2006, however, when it came around the time for the jury selection, the defendant chose to settle. Over four million was included in the client's total recovery; two and a half million was put into a structured fund for the future needs of the client.

Arnold & Itkin Wins Unanimous $4.9 Million Jury Verdict

Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Jason Itkin and Paul Skrabanek represented a client who had suffered serious injuries to his arm and back. Through hard work and dedication, the firm was able to obtain a unanimous $4.9 million jury verdict. The trial lasted a week and a half and was tried in the 157th District Court for Harris County, TX before Judge Wilson. The firm is proud to have been involved in the case and for getting the young man the compensation he needed to receive all necessary medical treatment.
